CCB stands for Change (or Configuration) Control Board, which is the team responsible for managing modifications. This team comprises a range of personnel, including an application expert, technical personnel, managers and a registrar. It is responsible for discussing all proposed system changes or enhancements (with a view to approving or rejecting them), ensuring execution, making any decision relating to system configuration management, and handling system faults and modifications. The team may address the needs of the individual system, of a number of projects, or of the entire organization. It is highly recommended to appoint a senior member of staff to head the team.
